We were there twice but we’d have gone more if we had the time. The restaurant is entirely ran by a sweet couple who makes sure you feel right at home. The menu is not long but every dish is made to perfection. The highlights for us were the Bacalhau and the Feijoada. Best food in Olhão, hands down.
We had a fabulous dinner! The bean dish and hake were great! Dessert was devine. 2 main courses, 1 liter of wine and a dessert was €30. So tasty and served with such generosity. Highly recommend!
Amazing food & friendly service! We absolutely loved the clams they were so good. Must try their octopus rice & feijoada too!
Excellent Portuguese restaurant away from the touristy "restaurant row" (on the Outoubro). Pictured is the feijoada. The bacalhau is great as is the other dishes we've tried (I'm convinced you can't go wrong with the menu). Helpful and kind staff. If you're looking for an authentic meal while in Olhão, Dominó is highly recommended.
Absolute greatest restaurant in the world. Antonio and Liliana make you feel like you’re having the best home cooked meal ever! We come back to Olhao every year just to eat here.
Excellent Portuguese kitchen with fresh and tasty portions. Menu is short and not vegan, just right for me and my wife. Today had Arroz de polvo and shrimps with chili and garlic bread.
Absolutely amazing place :) small, climatic with fantastic hosts, definetely reservation is needed. We've had huge luck as we came and find a table for two. As a starter we had vinnagrette anchovis with bread - and it was delicious - anchovis just melted in mouth releasing so much flavours. Traditional octopus stew with rice was really good. Fried cod in onions, olives and paprika with round potato chips was absolutely amazing. As a desert we had almond cake and chefs pudding - both were exquisite. This place is a absolute MUST for every one who loves great food!!!
Domino is the place I dream about at night! 5 stars is honestly not enough, Michelin people your missing out! My first experience was 4 years ago, and ever since I couldn’t stop thinking about it. The shrimps and clams are from a different world. So simple but at the same time something you have never experienced before!! Happy I moved to this town now and can call this my second home.
